This cluster of 6 rehab buildings and 1 new construction project is located on scattered sites in the Ridgewood/Bushwick area of Brooklyn, NY. They are currently undergoing renovation under HPD’s Third Party Transfer program. Scope items included new roof with high-albedo coating, new energy efficient, foam filled fiberglass windows and sprayfoam insulation at all perimeter walls, as well as replacing aging systems for more energy efficient and code compliant building systems.
The total number of residential units across the entire cluster is 30 units, with two ground floor commercial spaces.
The rehabilitations of the properties is also intended to bring the masonry rehab buildings back to their original state, while also bringing a more contemporary aesthetic using fiber-cement panels on the frame buildings.
