This project, located in the Bronx, consists of a cluster of buildings renovated through NYC HPD’s Third Party Transfer program. The scope of the project included a new roof with high-albedo coating, new energy-efficient windows, and building insulation, as well as replacing aging infrastructure for more energy-efficient and code-compliant building systems. The project is compliant with Enterprise Green Communities.
Phase 1 entailed renovation of 701 and 705 Crotona Park North, which are two adjacent buildings with a shared heating/hot water system. These buildings are five stories each and have a combined unit count of 44 units, including one super’s apartment. Phase 2 includes 1131 Croes Avenue and 1922 Crotona Parkway.
