New York, NY
This project included the planning and design of an office for a diamond company in midtown Manhattan. PM Architecture worked with the client to ensure that all programmatic requirements were included in the office design. The company needed a space that provided both open and private offices. The client demanded that the waiting area needed to be secluded from the rest of the office, but still be visually connected.
Our team developed the solution of installing a large curved wall that helped open the space and facilitate the continuity and flow of circulation.
The finished project met our client’s requirements, by including a waiting area, a vault, production spaces, as well as a pantry with ample seating for staff. The main office area consists of private offices at the perimeter with smaller offices and combined offices at the interior. The use of glass partitions opens up the space to allow for natural light and views to the exterior from all areas of the office.
