New York, NY
This project included the planning and design of an office for a diamond company in midtown Manhattan. The company needed a space that provided both open and private offices. The program included a waiting area, a vault, production spaces, as well as a pantry with ample seating for staff. PM Architecture worked with the client to ensure that all programmatic requirements were included in the office design. The waiting area needed to be private from the rest of the office, but still be visually connected; the design solution included the creation of a large curved wall that helped open the space and facilitate the continuity and flow of circulation.
The main office area consists of private offices at the perimeter with smaller offices and combined offices at the interior. The use of glass partitions opens up the space to allow for natural light and views to the exterior from all areas of the office.
