Located in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, this 6-story, (twenty-three) one-bedroom unit building is moderate-income housing for seniors. The challenge of this project was to assemble the maximum possible floor areas from both air rights and zoning allowances to meet the client’s requirement for apartments for senior citizens. This project also utilized the Inclusionary Housing provisions of the NYC Zoning Code. The building is designed to provide senior citizens with maximum self-sufficiency and mobility.
